Yes, data migration is included. We import historical data (students, staff, fee records, exam marks) via Excel templates. Registers and paper records are digitized from scanned PDFs where needed. For most schools, migration takes 1-2 weeks and runs parallel to training.

Multiple formats: live online training (2-3 sessions), on-site visit (Professional/Enterprise plans), video tutorials for every module, and a dedicated onboarding specialist for the first month. We also train a "super user" in your school who becomes the internal go-to person.

Yes, we recommend it. Most schools run both systems for 2-4 weeks during transition — data entry in both places for a period, then switch off the old system once staff are comfortable. No cutover risk.

We recommend onboarding in the off-season (April-May for CBSE schools) so you're fully ready for the new session in June. If you start mid-session, we can import current-year data and continue from where you are.

More than on your own servers. We use AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, daily encrypted backups to geographically separate locations, and 24/7 security monitoring. We comply with India's DPDP Act and never share or sell your data.

Only the people you authorise. Role-based access control (RBAC) ensures parents see only their own child, teachers see only their classes, and admins have defined scope. Every login and edit is logged in an audit trail. Even our internal team cannot see your data without explicit permission.

We operate at 99.9% uptime (under 45 min/month planned + unplanned). Our infrastructure has automatic failover — if one server fails, traffic reroutes to another in seconds. Data is backed up in real-time. In the extremely rare case of an outage, we restore from backup within 1 hour maximum.

Yes, anytime. We provide CSV/Excel/JSON exports for every module. Student records, staff records, fee history, exam marks, attendance — all your data, in standard formats. No lock-in, no ransom. This is a core principle for us.

Yes. We sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with schools on request. These formalise how we handle your data, retention periods, and what happens if the contract ends.

Yes. Each school gets their own branding — logo, colors, domain (e.g., portal.yourschool.com), even welcome email templates. Parents see your school's brand, not MMSONU's, throughout their experience.

Yes. We integrate with biometric devices (eSSL, ZKTeco, Matrix), payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU, Instamojo, CCAvenue), SMS providers (DLT-compliant), WhatsApp Business API, Tally, GPS devices, and any REST API. If you have a specific system, tell us and we'll check feasibility.

Yes. Define exactly what each role can see and do. Standard roles (admin, teacher, parent, student, accountant, transport manager) are pre-built. You can also create custom roles — e.g., "exam coordinator", "sports head", "library prefect" — with precise permissions per module.

Every plan includes email and phone support during business hours (9 AM – 7 PM IST, Mon-Sat). Professional and Enterprise get priority support with 4-hour response SLA. WhatsApp support is available for urgent issues across all plans. Dedicated account managers on Enterprise.

Emergency support is available on Sundays/holidays via WhatsApp for critical issues (system down, data loss, security). Routine support requests are handled on the next business day. Enterprise plans get weekend support included.

Through the in-app support ticket system, email (hello@mmsonu.in), or WhatsApp. Bugs are prioritised by severity — critical issues are addressed within hours, feature requests are reviewed monthly and added to our roadmap if beneficial to multiple schools.

Yes. On-site training is included in Professional (2 days) and Enterprise (5 days) plans. Essential customers can add on-site training at an additional cost. For remote schools, we do extensive live video training via Zoom/Meet.

Account transitions are seamless. All correspondence, custom configurations, and support history are documented in our CRM — the new account manager knows your setup. You also have direct access to our support team, not just your account manager.

Yes. Multi-campus schools get a unified dashboard with per-campus views. Students, staff, and finance can be shared or isolated per campus (your choice). Central reporting across all campuses is built-in. This is an Enterprise plan feature.
