What schools ask before choosing MMSONU.

Can I create custom fee heads for my school?

Yes — unlimited. From standard heads (tuition, transport, lab) to school-specific ones (uniform fund, annual day contribution, alumni fee). Each head can have its own frequency, due date rules and late-fee policy.

How do sibling or staff-ward discounts work?

Discounts are rule-based. When you enrol a second child, the system auto-detects sibling relation and applies the sibling discount rule. Staff-ward discounts trigger from employee records. Both can stack with merit scholarships depending on your policy.

Which payment gateways do you support?

Razorpay, PayU, Instamojo, CCAvenue, Cashfree, and custom bank-hosted gateways. We can also integrate with your existing school bank's payment portal. UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets and EMI all supported.

Can parents pay in installments?

Yes. Fee heads can be configured as installment-based (e.g., ₹X due on 5th of every month). Parent portal shows next installment due date and amount. Partial payments against individual heads are supported.

Does it integrate with Tally?

Yes. We export vouchers, receipts and journal entries in Tally-compatible XML/CSV. Your CA can import directly. We also support Busy format and custom CA-friendly exports.

How are refunds handled?

Refunds are processed as negative receipts against the student's ledger — with reason codes and approval workflow. Refund record links back to the original receipt for audit trail.
